This year, we have used photoshop a-lot. So far we have made a sandwich, using pictures of bread, lettuce, and tomato. We also did a dipstick? I'm not sure what it is called, but we took a picture and changed the colors.
However, Non destructive editing is the best because, you don't delete stuff, you hide it. It makes so you can bring back stuff by unhiding it instead of undoing, because using control z undoes it and then redoes it. Using a mask means that you can use crop the image to the appropriate size and you can get rid of white that surrounds the image. When making the sandwich we took pictures and cropped off the white to then stack the sandwich and make it look like a sandwich and not a loaf of weird bread. When we made the dipstick we used color editing, that could be reversed by gray scaling and then recoloring. you can go back with this and it is pretty easy. After "base boosting" the image, we where able to to change the color to make it look like a dipstick, or in other words using a whole bunch of color to make the image "pop" out. we didn't you masking for this project however we used non destructive editing by not deleting anything therefore non destructive. Anyway photoshop has been fun to use and non destructive editing is a really good and fun skill to learn and have when editing photos and videos.
